Our research centers on the social, environmental, and behavioral aspects of negative maternal and child health outcomes, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, reproductive health, and mental health with a primary focus on health disparities.

We study infectious diseases in pregnancy and early childhood, risk factors for HIV/AIDS among adolescent girls and young women, and environmental risk factors leading to poor health in vulnerable communities.
